Pegasus Healthcare Training and Consultancy Ltd is a quality driven training provider set up by our director Jo Maidment.

Jo is highly motivated professional and experienced nurse and healthcare manager with over 25yrs experience of working in the health and social care sector. Jo has an in-depth knowledge and insight into the challenges and needs that the sector is facing and is driven by her passion for quality and ensuring that the highest quality is achieved and maintained.

Jo is a compassionate and caring person with great people skills and has proven experience in managing projects, meeting deadlines, and managing her time effectively.

Jo’s experience in a variety of settings as a nurse & manager has allowed her to develop a varied wealth of knowledge, experience, and skills within the sector.

As an experienced trainer and training manager Jo has a natural passion for mentoring, training, and supporting individuals and teams to develop their skills, confidence and meet their potential to deliver quality results, in a positive and motivational way.

Jo works with a ‘find it & fix it’ approach taking a proactive or reactive approach depending on the situation, helping teams /individuals to adopt a ‘lessons learned’ mentality rather than a blame culture.

Jo has a keen eye for details, whether it is while creating content for training sessions or carrying out audits or peer reviews, she will develop comprehensive and constructive action plans from her findings to identify any issues and help make the required improvements.

Outside of work Jo’s passions are her 2 dogs, Skip & Chief and horse Monty, who help to provide Jo with a work life balance, allowing her to relax, reset and de-stress from the stresses of work.
